Ghana’s management company and event organisers of the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Charterhouse has finally apologized to hip life act, Sarkodie for playing him up as one of the headlining act at the event without his consent.
Sarkodie took to his Twitter account on Monday, April 6, 2015 to express his dissatisfaction at the management, for playing smart, and the event management company responded, by releasing an official statement apologizing to the artiste and his team.
‘The management of Charterhouse expressly apologises for a Vodafone Ghana Music Awards radio commercial that has aired on YFM announcing Sarkodie as one of the performing artistes on the night. We would like to expressly state that Sarkodie is not performing at the 16th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Measures have been taken to ensure this does not happen again’, the statement read.
