Arsenal fell to a 3-1 defeat at West Brom in a Premier League match played at The Hawthorns on Saturday, March 18.
The signs were bad from early on after Craig Dawson headed in a cornerkick after 12 minutes.

Arsenal’s leading scorer, Alexis Sanchez equalised three minutes later but that was the only bright spot on a gloomy afternoon for the Gunners.
First, goalkeeper Petr Cech went off injured after 34 minutes, then his replacement conceded a comical yet controversial goal 10 minutes into the second half.
David Ospina had made to clear dangerous ball, but it fell to Hal Robson-Kanu who poked the ball past Ospina and teammate, James McClean to put West Brom back in front only two minutes after coming on.
Arsenal players felt the goal should have been ruled out as McClean was in an offside position, but the ref and his assistant felt the West Brom player was not interfering with play and let the goal stand.
The misery continued when Danny Welbeck saw his header hit the crossbar, then Dawson scored a copy of his first goal with another header off a cornerkick in the 75th minute.
Sanchez was then replaced by Nigerian attacker Alex Iwobi minutes later, likely to keep him from the effects of an ankle knock from the first half.

The loss is the fourth in five league games and sixth suffered by the Gunners in their last nine games in all competitions.
It’s also the first time Arsenal have lost four league games in a five-game sequence since April 1995; 22 years ago.
The result prompted more ‘Wenger Out’ banners to be displayed by some Arsenal supporters.
