President Muhammadu Buhari has also recorded a landslide victory over Atiku Abubakar in Jigawa State in the presidential poll.
Buhari polled a total of 794,738 votes to defeat Atiku who polled a total of 289,895 votes. The difference in votes is over 500,000.
The total number of registered voters in the state is 2,104,889.
1,171,801 voters were accredited while a total of 1,149,922 people cast their votes.
The total number of valid votes is 1,106,244 while 43,678 votes were rejected.
Buhari, who is currently in a convenient lead, has won nine out of fourteen states (including the FCT) that have been announced so far.
The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja.
