A video director by profession, Kemi remains the most influential Nigerian woman behind the scenes of some of the finest music visuals that make us cheerful.
The award-winning cinematographer is open to brag about working with the big entertainers in Nigerian entertainment industry. From 2face to Wizkid, Olamide, Banky W, Bez, and Lynxxx.
She directed Tiwa Savage‘s second most viewed music video, ‘My Darling’, which follows ‘Eminado’.
Also try to see Banky W’s ‘Lagos Party’ again – a video she directed and was shot seven years ago, featuring a young and handsome Wizkid.
Omawumi, Waje, Ego, Niyola and TY Bello have also picked Kemi as the best person for their studio works.
Some of the awards her works have won include Best Female Video for the song ‘Ekundayo’ by TY Bello at the Soundcity TV Music Video Awards and Best Female Video for the song ‘Today na Today’ by Omawumi at the 2010 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Kemi started out as a radio presenter with Rhythm 93.7 FM, then a TV host on MNet. She was also a presenter on Soundcity TV and hosted the Maltina Dance All reality show for three consecutive seasons.
Her fans were stunned when she kicked off an online campaign ‘KING WOMAN’ in March 2016.
