The Lagos State government has declared that tomorrow, Thursday, March 29, is a work free day in anticipation of a presidential visit by the head of state, President Muhammed Buhari. The reason for the declaration? The Lagos state government would like to Lagosians to come out to greet President Buhari.

Additionally major routes such as Ikeja, Agege, Victoria Island and Ikoyi will reportedly be closed as a security measure. President Buhari is to stay in Lagos for two days: March 29 and March 30.
During Buhari’s Lagos visit, he will be attending a colloquium in honour of APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his 66th birthday, commissioning the Ultra Modern bus terminal in Ikeja, and the official flag-off for the Lekki Deep Sea Port Project construction among other activities.
