Days after appearing on one of the biggest stages on African television, Grafton Records artiste Mr 2Kay has more cause to be excited: his recently released album ELEVATED climbed to the number one spot on iTunes.
Mr 2Kay’s career has experienced a resurge after the robbery incident that nearly took his life towards the end of 2016. Undeterred by the fallout, 2Kay’s album has received mostly positive reviews. He had a listening party on February 13 and performed at Big Brother Naija eviction show a week later.
The effect on his albums sales was immediate as it topped the charts less than 24 hours later.
