Disgraced R&B musician R Kelly who continues to face backlash and possible legal troubles for his alleged sexual abuse may find his forthcoming tour of Australia canceled if the shadow minister of immigration of that country has his way.
The Australian shadow minister for immigration and border protection, Shayne Neumann, said his party, the Labor party would be “seriously concerned” if Kelly was allowed into the country.
Australia has been known to refuse embattled celebrities into the country after Floyd Mayweather and Chris Brown were refused visas for similar allegations of violence against women.
R Kelly’s show in Germany may also face disruption if it goes on in April, as 22,000 people have signed a Change.org petition asking for it to be canceled.
