Award-winning Nigerian soul singer and songwriter, Aramide is set to perform at the 2019 SXSW; South By SouthWest Music Festival which will take place from the 11th to the 17th of March 2019i in Texas, United States.
The South by SouthWest conference and music festival is a multi-genre, multi-medium festival and conference series in Austin which gives a platform for thousands of artists and thinkers every year, making it one of the biggest gathering of creatives in the world.
The festival side of SXSW is split across five areas which include music and Aramide has been billed to perform at, joining almost 500 showcasing artists from 40 countries who will be performing at the festival.
Aramide has made tremendous impact and progress in the past year with her song ‘Funmi Lowo’ winning best Alternative song at the 2018 edition of the Headies Award.
As a prolific performer, Aramide has performed at various events in Nigeria and across the world including, Ghana, United States, United Kingdom, Dubai, and Canada.
