Respected producer Fidelis Duker and godfather of Nigerian stand-up comedy Ali Baba are two of the distinguished Nigerians who have been added to the list of panelists at the first-ever Nigerian Entertainment Conference holding on Friday April 26.
Duker, one of Nollywood‘s most consistent producers, and himself a festival organiser, will join Nse Ikpe-Etim, Kunle Afolayan, Ibinabo Fiberesima and Victor Akande on the Nollywood panel, while Ali Baba – a pathfinder who earned respect and patronage for comedy business, opening up a new industry for thousands, has been added to the Business panel. Ali will join Steve Babaeko, Efe Omorogbe, Audu Maikori and Gab Okoye to discuss the business of entertainment in Nigeria.
Also, TV host, lawyer and media influencer Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has been added to the CSR panel which also has Yemi Adamolekun, Sasha, Darey and Ayo Animashaun.
The inaugural NEC will hold this Friday at the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The conference is being put together by NET Newspapers, in association with Beat FM, BlackHouse Media, Naija Fm, Hip TV, Classic FM, Movie Moments, Star Music and MTV Base; with support from Emblue, AV Edge, Kiss Events, Sodium Brand Solutions, Equally Diverse Solutions, Digiprints and F316 Consulting.
