Super Eagles player,  Ahmed Musa‘s goal has been ranked the eight best of the 169 goals scored at the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

Musa‘s 2nd goal, against Iceland, was rated above goals scored by Portugal’s Ricardo Quaresma and Germany’s Toni Kroos in the top ten.

The stunning volley from French right back, Benjamin Pavard against Argentina was awarded as the best world cup goal in Russia 2018.

The 25-year-old who plays for the English team, Leicester City took to his Social media page to show his appreciation to Nigerians and also his fans for voting him with caption:

“I just want to thank you all for voting. This goal is bigger than me it has shown the world that Nigeria has quality on the world stage and we look to improve in the future. I am humbled by the love and encouragement. Thank you all again 🙏”
