Nollywood actress and the future Mrs. Wellington, Adesua Etomi, made an interesting political move this past week. The Wedding Party lead actress visited the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, in the Government House in Benin City.
Now not much is known about their discussion, but industry sources have told Nigerian Entertainment Today it’s possible the visit is ‘the first of many’.
However, one busy body in our newsroom pointed everyone’s attention to something that missed many eye balls: the inscription Banky’s babe wore.
For someone who’s often seen as an expatriate, because she only recently moved back home from overseas, it appears she’s now determined to show and tell everyone she’s a local babe; an original Edo girl.
‘This Edo Girl’, the text on her T-shirt read, in bold black-red-black. The rising Nollywood star is claiming her origin, as she works to establish herself as a bonafide Nollywood celebrity.
The governor, of course, was pleased as the actress lauded him for the great things he has accomplished in the state.
The first class graduate of the University of Wolverhampton praised the governor and his administration for the great work they do caring for the less privileged, empowering women, and maintaining order in the state.
‘Susu’ is set to have a busy year end as she prepares for her wedding to singer Banky W, as well as the premiere of The Wedding Party 2.
