She went on to study Drama and Performance at the University of Wolverhampton where she was one of the best students, graduating in 2009 with first class honors.
Adesua later returned to Nigeria to pursue her love for acting.
Appearing in movies raking over N240m in the box office, Adesua is the second most bankable Nollywood actress of 2016.
It is the second time Adesua is appearing on the list of bankable actresses in Nollywood, a feat not so many people have been able to achieve in the business in recent times.
Already one of the most sought after Actresses in her short career, Ms Etomi gives you the feeling of someone who has been around for so long and has worked in Nollywood longer.
Yes, she is that enthralling on screen.
Adesua has appeared in movies such as Brave, Knocking On Heaven’s Door, Falling, A Soldier’s Story, Out Of Luck, Couple Of Days, The Arbitration and the highly rated – The Wedding Party.
And has also appeared in stage plays like – Secret Lives Of Baba Segi’s Wives, Saro, Shattered, The Grimm Tales, Anatomy Of A Woman, Crystal Slipper and more.
And ‘small’ as her filmography may be compared to heavyweights in the business, Adesua Etomi seems like one who just hasn’t come to stay but one who’s here to redefine the future of Nollywood.
Happy birthday Adesua Etomi, wishing you the best life yet.
