Veteran Nigerian fuji artiste Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is a year older today.

The 51-year-old Fuji legend who still looks very young for his age took to his Instagram page to express his gratitude to God for sparing his life.
While sharing new photos of himself, he wrote ‘Thank you for another year and all the experiences that you gave me this past year.. Thank you for giving’ me all the success & achievements that will always be happy memories for me. Thank you for giving me all the happiness that gave me time to celebrate.
Thank you for giving’ me all the sadness that reminded me of my own weaknesses & made me realize that I really need you to be my guide & light in my life. Alhamdulillah for every blessing Allah has given me. LLnP to me.🙏🙏🙏🙏”
Pasuma’s debut album “Recognition“ was released in 1993. Since then, he has collaborated with several artistes, such as Bola Abimbola and King Sunny Ade and has also featured in Nigerian movies such as Iyanje and Alenibare.
With a three-decade-long music career which has seen Pasuma introduce music to new audiences more than any other singer in his category, He’s executed more cross-genre collaborations than any other, and he’s one of the very few from that sector who remain consistent and relevant for decades.
