Brazil football legend, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima has announced he is likely to make a return to the pitch of play with American club, Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
The 38-year old, who spent most of his playing times with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan, was quoted on Lance! Magazine, saying: ‘It’s going to happen,’ Ronaldo told Lance! magazine, ‘I have already said so, but it’s going to be a bit later, in the play-offs.’
The footballer, who didn’t disclose when exactly the comeback will be, however said he is currently undergoing a training programme to get himself fit.
‘For now, we are organising it all but I am going to have a weight goal,’ he added.
The two-time World Cup winner, who is currently said to be a major shareholder in the North American Soccer League (NASL), retired in 2011.
