Nigerian pop stars, Wizkid and Davido, have reignited their seemingly never-ending feud. On this latest episode of the ‘Fia’ singer and the ‘Come Closer’ musician’s beef was spurred by the recent awards that both of them on.

At the AFRIMA which held on Sunday, November  12 2017, Wizkid was a recipient of three awards. Starboy took home the awards for ‘Best West African Artiste’,’Artiste Of The Year’ and ‘Song Of The Year’.

On the same night, Davido also made history as the first African artiste to win two EMAs in the same night. The ‘Fall’ singer won the categories of ‘Best African Act’ and ‘Best Worldwide Act’.

Davido, who was elated by his historical win, took to Instagram to celebrate with his fans while also dropping some shade Wizkid’s way.

Shots fired!👀

In the post. Davido referred to Wizkid’s AFRIMA plaques as ‘cheap’. ‘Let those ones keep their awards. That award that peels. Even the ones that I collected last year would have peeled completely. My name is David. You can’t play with me and get away with it. 2018, I’m coming for you.’

Wizkid did not bat an eye before responding to Davido with a frog and raindrop emojis. He has been using the frog emoji to troll Davido ever since after he had mocked his voice as froggy few months ago.  Granted the fact that Davido’s new single is called ‘FIA’, many are spectating that the raindrop emoji refers to Wizkid quenching Davido’s fire.

👀👀 let me come and be going 🚶🏽

Wizkid later went on to tweet about the issue, subliminally of course.
