Rihanna visited Malawi earlier this year to learn about the challenges facing the country’s educational system.

The Bajan singer visited as part of her role as founder of the Clara Lionel Foundation and Global Ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education.

While there, Rihanna met with pupils of Muzu primary school in rural Malawi and had a great time teaching them maths, playing soccer and dancing with them.

Speaking on her visit to the school, Riri said, ‘I love that they learn in melody. That’s like my favorite thing because kids, they adopt melody really, really quickly.

‘And so if you can use that as a learning tool, I think that’s the most brilliant, brilliant thing.’
