‘Traction, acceptance, authenticity, packaging are some of the things artists need to be great.


‘Be your authentic self.


‘More you need to put depth into your content for it to go further over time.


‘Let’s stop the petty way of creating content and infuse depth and energy to stand the test of time.


‘A lizard in Nigeria will not become an alligator in America.’

‘Don’t ever think nobody is watching, I feel that’s the reason why most people give up.


‘I was in this same Lagos singing R&B before I looked inward and did Kukere, which was indigenous to me


‘Kukere is still one of my biggest songs, it was inspired by my people and culture.’
