Ray HushPuppi

So over the weekend, a popular Malay-Nigerian who goes by the name Ray HushPuppi has been a topic of discussion amongst young Nigerians – even up till now.

The Instagram big boy, who judging by his pictures spends most of his stacks on Gucci, is said to have spent over N11.5m at popular night club, Quilox.

Meanwhile, the reason why he’s currently in the news is that after he spent that amount at the club, he called out his former pal and partner in spending, Davido and his crew – letting them know why he’s the real Baba Olowo and not some sort of Omo Baba Olowo (as Davido calls himself).

HushPuppi took to Snapchat to write a lengthy post:

‘I am speaking on behalf of my honorable self and classic baggie and self-paid, if them born anybody well, or ‘UNA CREW’ make una come out tonight, make we use am do champions league final in this lagos tonight!!! Bottles will be flying from the beginning.

‘Hennesy don enter body and tonight is the night to let you all know I didn’t go and count bridges in Malaysia for 4 years.

‘If your net worth is a hundred million and below, stay at home tonight or come as a fan or a looker.

‘Note to Shina Peller: No credit sale tonight, no selling to anyone based on personality or past glory.

‘Our own bank open today and our token dey on standby and network good, no story, no ‘i dey come’, no ‘baba u no sabi me ni’. ITS CHAMPIONSHIP NYT.

‘There’s difference between omo baba olowo and baba olowo (sic)’

Although it remains unknown what must have transpired between the former friends, it could be a common show of wealth with the big boy.

Meanwhile this was what people had to say:
