The singer/cream entrepreneur got in a heated argument with English comedian, Ava Vidal, over the purpose of her cream, Whitenicious.
Cameroonian pop singer and bleaching cream expert, Dencia, was on Britain’s Channel 4 recently to discuss vitiligo and addison’s disease – two conditions she claims to know about first-hand.
She was joined by English comedian, Ava Vidal, who is also known for being vocal about her fight against racism.
However, things got heated when Dencia was asked about her cream, Whitenicious, and she went on to defend it by claiming she’d suffered from a bad vitiligo, and lightening her skin was her way of covering the spots.
Ava, who also claimed to be a vitiligo sufferer as well, claimed she had never thought of toning her skin to get whiter, but instead covers the white patches to make them look darker.
She went on to accuse Dencia of being ‘intellectually dishonest’ after the singer/cream entrepreneur claimed people bought her cream to cover up dark spots, not lighten their skin.
The conversation almost got out of hand when the two women started talking over each other, almost forgetting they were on live TV.
The fight did not stop there as they both took to Twitter afterwards to call each other names, with Ava claiming Dencia was coming from a place of low self-esteem and Dencia calling Ava angry and bitter.
