Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun

Teebillz had an episode last year where he almost jumped off the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge. Having tasted first-hand the effects of mental illness, he is speaking up about it.

Today, he posted a picture of a quote by Kerry Washington about mental health, where she said ‘my brain and my heart are really important to me’, and she concluded by asking if she could see a dentist to keep her teeth healthy, then why couldn’t she see a shrink?

Teebillz goes on to make that quote more reasonable to a Nigerian by saying if we can seek help for malaria or fever, we shouldn’t be ashamed of our psychological and emotional condition.
