Peridot and Cinema Kpatakpata in collaboration with Angenieux in France, Catapult Film in Norway and Project Act Nollywood in Nigeria have released the trailer for their joint movie project – The Lost Cafe.

Nollywood filmmaker Kenneth Gyang directs this uplifting story about a girl’s decision to rise above dark family secrets and culture shock to live her dreams abroad.

She finds the most unusual answers to her troubling questions somewhere in Drammen, where she meets the half blind, strange owner of a quaint coffee shop that serves the best coffee in the world.

The film stars AMVCA Best Supporting Actress nominee Tunde Aladese, Belinda Effah, Ann Njemanze, Terje Lien, Jenny Bonden and Anders Lidin Hansen in Norway.

The movie is produced by Norway-based Regina Udalor, who also wrote the script; screenplay is by Ifesinachi Okoli Akpagwu.
