Harrysong has been released from police custody following his arrest that was ordered by former record label, Five Star Music this morning, January 27.
The singer’s manager, Desmond, confirmed to us that he left police custody this afternoon and he’s back to work as they plan to resolve the developing issue.
Desmond also said people are making a big deal of the matter, which he said isn’t that serious.
Harrysong was picked up by Lagos police at his home this morning to meet the state’s Assistant Inspector General who’s in charge of the case between the singer and his former management.
Thenetng exclusively gathered that Harrysong’s three year contract with Five Star is supposed to expire this month, January 2017. But in November 2016, the ‘Reggae Blues’ singer announced his exit from Five Star Music Group to set up his own label, Alterplate.
Five Star Music management are now citing claims of fraud and breach of contract against Harrysong.
