The estranged couple and their children

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been in a brutal public divorce battle, but it seems they have decided to bury the hatchet for the sake of their children.

This comes one month after Pitt was denied an emergency hearing in which he was trying to get the judge to seal all of their documents and proceedings to ‘protect the privacy’ of their kids.

The former couple have released a joint statement that says they have agreed to seal their document in order to protect the privacy of the kids.

The statement reads: ‘The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues. The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.’
