D’banj has been announced as an ambassador for one of Nigeria’s major development financing institutions Bank of Industry (BOI).

The Pop singer made this known via his Twitter account on May 14, 2013.

NET confirmed the announcement while speaking with a representative from the institution. ‘Yes it’s true‘, a rep told our reporter via telephone.

It is not yet clear which roles D’banj will be playing as ambassador as the rep explained he was not in the capacity to explain.

BOI was formerly called Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB) Limited, which was incorporated in 1964.
